SterlingNOW Construction Update – January 2020

Gleason Expansion: The 32,000 square foot Gleason Center expansion is fully enclosed now that the Wilkey Fieldhouse walls, roof and insulation are in place. Furnishings are being ordered and plans for the Hall of Fame and Lobby are taking shape. Painters will arrive the week of January 13-17 to work on the office wing, athletic training facility, classrooms and weight room.

Before the flooring goes in, a Prayer Walk will happen Friday, January 17, at 11:30 a.m. Anyone in attendance will be given the opportunity to write down a scripture, prayer, or other blessing on the concrete floor before tile and carpet are installed. Our goal is to ask for God’s blessing on this new space and the ongoing construction, and to express thanks for the many donors who are making this dream a reality. The Prayer Walk is open to the public and no reservation is needed.
